DESTINY OF BROTHERS: Post OP SINDOOR

Operation Sindoor

Table of Contents

Dear folks,

Earlier night, Sashi Tharoor, MP from Kerala, quoted an urdu couplet, subsequent to witnessing the violation act of Pakistan after the ceasefire agreement- “Uski fitrat hai mukar jaane ki, uske vaade pe yakeen kaise karu.”

Pakistan leadership is a complex puzzle. Its common knowledge that the Army chief General Asim Munir, call the shots in Pakistan, not the PM or his puppet government. Now, its not yet clear what happened behind the back doors after the ceasefire agreement officially announced by Deputy PM of Pakistan at 1700 hrs on 10 May 25, followed by the announcement of US President Trump and ratified by Indian Foreign Secretary later. Its significant to note that Gen Munir or any Military spokesperson was absent during the press release of Pakistan government. Later we heard the late night official speech delivered by Pak PM Shehbaz Sherif, too.

A shroud of secrecy and uncertainty still prevails which left the world, especially Indians puzzled and baffled by the sheer audacity of a failed nation. A full ceasefire brokered by US President Trump himself, and accepted by both Nations unilaterally, violated within hours by the Pak Army, reeks insubordination and indiscipline in the rank and files of the Pak Army. Or is it sheer jingoism and scant respect of international diplomacy exhibited by Gen Aseem Munir?

We will find out soon. Meanwhile, President Trump would be the most embarrassed player in this whole game, having received a slap in public from Gen Munir. His first reaction, naturally would be to withdraw the controversial IMF loan extended to Pak, to teach them an immediate lesson.
The drama unfolding in this part of Asia has left the world shell-shocked, since the brazen violation of US brokered ceasefire and betrayal of trust by Pakistan points to a sinister evil design of General Munir; even at the cost of a possible nuclear holocaust in the subcontinent : A situation called MAD-( Mutually Assured Destruction) coined by our former COAS, General Sunderji. He has portrayed a similar situation blooming into a nuclear war, the flash- point being Kashmir, in his famous book-The blind men of Hindustan.

The unfolding story in this week, will rewrite the history and future of Indo-Pak saga.
Let us think loud -Gen Munir, as he stands on a cross road today, what are the options left for him?

First- make Pakistan a rogue nation, violate the ceasefire against world opinion, fight with all his might and lead the nation towards total disaster, misery and a possible nuclear holocaust. Gen Munir, famously known as the only Army General till date, who is a ‘Hafeez-e- Quran‘ ,( A Muslim religious scholar who knows whole Quran by-heart) is an unpredictable fanatic.

2. Feign a ceasefire as per the situation demands, go ahead with his clandestine scheme of Jihadi terrorism against India. Carry on with the ‘ Zia- ul – Haq’ infamous strategy : make thousand cuts and bleed the mighty India to submission slowly.

3. Take ceasefire option, make peace with the most popular Pakistan Tehrik-e- Insaaf leader Imran Khan, make him again PM and become endearing to Pakistan Public again. Being a shrewd and calculative man, I earnestly hope, General Muneer will not chose the path of self-destruction and genocide and chose the third option.

I am sure he will not like to be remembered by prosperity, as the man who finally destroyed Pakistan, a holy city created after 1300 years after Madina, created by Prophet Muhammad, in his own words.
